Writer's Blocking

Writer’s Blocking is a comic conceived for and inspired by the personalities and humor of my friends Kristy, Michael and Renee and our slightly pitiful yet earnest attempts to do writing of any seriousness whatsoever.

Kristy and I met and bonded many moons ago over a common background in Oklahoma and the realization that we’d been at the same Bon Jovi concert in the eighties. Mike soon joined us in our mission to take over the theater department of the local community college, and his superpower was a driver’s license photo that could make anyone laugh at any time. Renee joined us in our journey much later – my kindred spirit lost in a sea of huggers at an unschooling conference.

Now we live in Oklahoma, Kansas, Oregon and California, and when we aren’t writing, we’re Moms, college students, button pushers and TV watchers. And then they make me do this comic, too.
